Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program

The Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP) is an annual program of scholarship testing used by approximately 170 independent schools across Australia to select academically gifted students for the award of a scholarship.

ACER produces the tests, supplies them to schools, marks the test papers and reports the results to schools. Individual schools then offer a scholarship based on their registered candidate list.

At we are currently offering candidates the opportunity to take the following levels of the CSTP program:

Level 1
Designed for students in their final year of primary school during 2003, for entry into first year of secondary school
(entry into year 7 in NSW, ACT, Tas and Vic or entry into year 8 in QLD, SA and WA) in 2004.
The tests are also suitable for first year secondary students, for entry into second year of secondary school.

Level 2

Designed for students in their second year of secondary school during 2003, for entry into third year of secondary school
(entry into year 9 in NSW, ACT, Tas and Vic or entry into year 10 in QLD, SA and WA) in 2004.
In NSW, ACT, Tas and Vic the tests are also suitable for third year secondary students for entry into fourth year of secondary school.

Level 3

Designed for students in Year 10 during 2003 (all states).
